Hayley Silberg has been coaching gymnastics for 20 years, including 3 years with CAPTivate. She has coached athletes of every age, skill level, gender and neuro-ability. Hayley is certified in Level 3 Artistic Gymnastics and Level 2 Trampoline through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Over the last 6 years, she has been coaching and training in acroyoga and standing acrobatics, and attending and teaching at acro festivals across the continent. Outside of CAPTivate, Hayley is a business developer for education technology and a geological engineer. She is the wife of Canada's national tumbling coach and the mother of three energetic boys - two humans aged 1 and 4, and one fluffy canine.


CAPTivate Vice-President

Kenya Pelletier has been coaching gymnastics for 5 years, including 3 years with CAPTivate. Prior to coaching, Kenya trained in recreational gymnastics for 10 years, of which 6 years were with performance teams. She has coached ages toddler to adult. She was recently recognized by the Alberta Gymnastics Federation for being one of only 6 gymnasts in the province to pass the final badge level of recreational gymnastics that year. In addition, Kenya has been training in dance and group choreography for 5 years through her arts school productions and dance team. Kenya is Competition 1 Certified in Artistic Gymnastics and Level 2 Trampoline Certified through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and has been choreographing gymnastics routines for 8 years. She is organized, creative, and a total rock star.



Rebecca, or “Coach Becks”, has been part of the gymnastics world for over a decade and a CAPTivate coach for 1.5 years. She has experience coaching Artistic Gymnastics, Trampoline & Tumbling and Sports Acrobatics, both competitively and recreationally. Rebecca was a dancer and has choreographed multiple routines in many disciplines. She also trained in Artistic Gymnastics and Tramp/Tumbling competitively when she was younger. She is  certified in Women’s Artistic Level 2 and Trampoline Level 2 through the National Coaching Certification Program. More recently, she has focused on acrobatics and is a phenomenal lady-basing boss. You can catch her wearing silly socks and a big smile on her face. She is passionate about helping others achieve their gymnastics goals, and loves to see the look on her athletes’ faces when they ace a tricky skill.



Emily has been coaching gymnastics for 13 years and loves being in the gym, coaching everyone from toddlers to adults. Before becoming a coach, Emily trained as a competitive artistic gymnast for 10 years, was part of a gymnaestrada team for 2 years, and then transitioned to trampoline and tumbling for 2 years. Outside of gymnastics, Emily was also a cheerleader for 2 years. Through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), Emily is Artistic Gymnastics Level 2 Certified and Level 1 Trampoline trained. Emily’s proudest coaching moment was being awarded the Gymnastics British Columbia Promotion Plus Emerging Gymnastics Leader of the Year in 2018. She loves helping others and sharing the sport of gymnastics. She thinks that no matter where you are in the world, when you move your body and get upside down, you always feel at home. 



Morgan came into the world of gymnastics through the avenue of dance, a passion of hers since 2006. She started coaching gymnastics in 2019 and is now Artistic Foundations certified, Comp 1 trained, and Level 2 Trampoline trained through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Morgan also has countless other relevant certifications, including being a certified Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) instructor, a certified yoga instructor, and a certified AcroLove teacher for AcroYoga. Morgan loves all things choreography, dance, and gymnastics! If she could remind you of one thing it would be that you don’t have to be the best, you just have to try your best!



Alexis Holt has been coaching gymnastics for 8 years, including both recreational gymnastics and performance teams. Alexis was also an athlete on a performance team for 4 years and finished her CanGym Gold badge 5 years ago. Alexis represented Team Canada in Helsinki, Finland at the World Gymnaestrada in 2015. Alexis is passionate about working with people with disabilities, which first sparked when she started coaching kids with special needs. She is Competition 1 Gymnastics and Level 1 Trampoline trained through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Alexis has been an avid athlete her whole life, with a deep love and passion for gymnastics. 



After training for 7 years as an artistic gymnast, Amy found a new passion in the gymnastics world and began her coaching journey in 2016. She has coached children and adults of all ages and levels, as well as choreographed a variety of artistic routines. Through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), Amy is Competition 1 and Trampoline 2 trained. Outside of the gymnastics world, Amy is currently studying Community Rehabilitation and Disability at the University of Calgary. She is an avid leader and is passionate about sharing her love for gymnastics with other people!



Hannah has been coaching recreational gymnastics for 5 years working with athletes of all ages and abilities. Prior to coaching, Hannah trained in recreational gymnastics for 14 years, including 6 years with performance teams, and obtained her CanGym Gold badge during that time. She also represented Team Canada in Austria at the World Gymnaestrada in 2019. Hannah is passionate about helping others achieve their goals, big or small, and watching others become as excited about the sport of gymnastics as she is. She is Level 2 Artistic trained and Level 2 Trampoline trained through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). She is fun, innovative and energetic! 



Melissa's passion for gymnastics started at a young age. As a competitive gymnast, she represented Manitoba at the Western Canadian Gymnastics Championships. She has coached gymnasts of all ages and believes that everyone can benefit and find enjoyment with the sport. She is Level 2 artistic gymnastics certified and Level 2 trampoline trained with the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Melissa loves supporting people as they reach their goals as both a gymnastics coach and as an occupational therapist, working with autistic children and youth. Other than spending time in the gymnastics gym, you can find Melissa in the mountains or at Made by Marcus. 



Robert Knight has been coaching gymnastics since he was 13 years old, including men’s artistic, trampoline, performance team, acrobatic gymnastics, acro dance, and women’s artistic. Prior to coaching, Robert trained in men’s artistic and acrobatic gymnastics for over 15 years. In addition, Robert was a competitive pole vaulter in high school. He is passionate about long-term athletic development and helping everyone, at any age and skill level, achieve their goals. Robert is Level 2 Artistic Gymnastics trained and Level 3 Trampoline trained through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and he is a dance, acro and artistic gymnastics choreographer.
