Gymnastics & Acro Summer Camp
Registration is open for Summer Camp 2026!
CAPTivate is hosting our sixth adult gymnastics & acro camp this summer from July 16-19, 2026 in Tawatinaw, Alberta at Pine Valley Resort & Gymnastics Club. Located one hour north of Edmonton, Pine Valley boasts hostel-style accommodations for 75 people, delicious catered meals, and an onsite gymnastics facility with all 8 artistic gymnastics events, a second floor space perfect for acro, and all 3 trampoline gymnastics events, including two in-ground trampolines bordering a foam pit. Private rooms, double rooms, triple rooms and rooms of 8 are all available. It truly feels like a sleepover camp for adults!
Each participant will choose a gymnastics group from the options below; however, the camp is run workshop-style. Athletes can switch between groups, depending on coach-to-athlete ratios and equipment space.

For out of town friends, the closest airport is Edmonton (YEG). Land before 12pm on July 16 if you want a ride to the camp. If you're flying in on July 15, reach out if you need a place to stay in Edmonton for one night. Fly out after 7pm on July 19 if you want a ride to the airport after camp. You can also fly in and out of Calgary (YYC) and catch rides with other athletes.

Pricing
The cost is $679 + 5% tax CAD for for Spring 2026 Session CAPTivate athletes. For new friends or returning friends, the cost is $729 + 5% tax CAD. Payment can be sent by e-transfer (from Canadian bank accounts) or by credit card (additional fees apply). The cost includes:

3 nights of accommodation in hostel-style dorms at double+ occupancy

3 lunches and 3 dinners

18 hours of gymnastics (structured + open gym)

circus workshop

2 yoga sessions

mock meet (Xcel, MAG & T&T)

The cost does not include:

private accommodations, which are available for an upgrade fee of $130 + 5% tax CAD

bedding - sheets, pillow, blanket, towel. Bring your own, or ask a local athlete to lend you some, or pay $25 + 5% tax CAD to rent some from Pine Valley Resort.

breakfasts - there will be a breakfast club that folks can opt into (this will be organized by a local athlete, who will gather input, do a Costco run, and cost-share)

transportation to/from the airports outside of specific time slots
Guests & Kids

Non-gymnast friends and partners are invited. There are lots of walking trails in the area and it's a beautiful, relaxing, rural resort. The cost for a guest, including accommodations, meals, workshops, socials, and open gyms, is $429 + 5% tax CAD. Teens ages 13+ are considered adults in this context.

Kids are invited too! Onsite childcare is available but spots are limited. The cost for kids varies depending on your rooming configuration (i.e. the size of the rest of your family), the age of your child (kids 0-6 are cheaper than 7-12, due to meal pricing), and the amount of childcare that you require. All guests of all ages are invited to participate in the entirety of the camp EXCEPT the structured gymnastics classes. They can go the open gyms, circus workshop, handstand workshop, mock meet, yoga, evening activities, and campfires. The costs of these activities are included in the guest and kid pricing - no extra fees.

We're very excited to be welcoming 2 coaches and 4 athletes from CAPTivate Australia to this summer camp! Fresh off of 2.5 weeks of professional development and coaching, you can expect world-class coaching instruction!
Winter Camp 2027

The next CAPTivate Winter Camp is not yet scheduled, but will be 3 days long in Canmore, Alberta. The closest international airport is Calgary (YYC).

The camp will include women's artistic, men's artistic, trampoline, and acro.
