CAPTivate is hosting our seventh adult gymnastics & acro camp this winter from Dec 31, 2026 to Jan 2, 2027 at Canmore Illusions Gymnastics Club. Located one hour west of Calgary in the province of Alberta, Canmore is nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, with stunning views, natural hot springs, and world-class skiing/snowboarding! The gymnastics facility features all 8 artistic gymnastics events, a second floor space perfect for acro, a trampoline, a tumble track, and a foam pit.

The camp will feature workshop-style rotations, where people are free to swap groups every rotation; however, we are still asking our participants to help us better prepare by choosing one of the following groups. Full descriptions of group skill levels will be available in the registration form.

For out of town friends, the closest airport is Calgary (YYC). Land before 10am on Dec 31 if you want a ride to the camp. If you're flying in on Dec 30, reach out if you need a place to stay in Calgary for one night. Fly out after 7pm on Jan 2 if you want a ride to the airport after camp or consider staying a few days to enjoy the beauty of the Canadian Rocky Mountains!

Pricing

The cost is $319 + 5% tax CAD for Canadians currently enrolled in a CAPTivate Fall program. For new friends or returning friends, the cost is $369 + 5% tax CAD. Payment can be sent by e-transfer (from Canadian bank accounts) or by credit card (additional fees apply). The cost includes:

12 hours of gymnastics
handstand workshop
dance / choreography workshop
restorative yoga
soak in the Banff hot springs
camp long-sleeve shirt (if registered before Dec 1)
transportation to/from the Calgary airport (within convenient time slots)
overnights in Calgary prior to or after camp at a fellow camper's home (if requested)

The cost does not include:

accommodations - we are currently confirming a hotel block
meals - the Team Dinner on NYE is not included in the fees
entry to the Banff Hot Springs ($19.75 for ages 18-64)
transportation to/from the Calgary airport outside of convenient time slots

Guests

Non-gymnast friends and partners are invited to Canmore! If guests would like to participate in the open gym, the handstand workshop, or the restorative yoga, the cost for each event is $19.05+gst per guest per event. Guests are also welcome to join for the team dinner and the trip to the Hot Springs, paying their own way. An RSVP is required by Dec 20 for these two events.
Unfortunately, there is no childcare available at our Winter Camp, but there will be at summer camp!

Summer Camp 2027

The next CAPTivate Summer Camp is scheduled for July 30 - Aug 2, 2027 at Pine Valley Resort in Tawatinaw, Alberta. The closest international airport is Edmonton (YEG).
The camp will include workshop-style classes in the disciplines of women's artistic, trampoline & tumbling, and acro.
Onsite childcare will be available!
